RP rules

1. No violence and/or excessive cussing. I will allow some cussing, though.
If you do it too much you will be warned.

2. Don't godmode or powerplay. For those of you who dont know what that means, it is when you play someone else's character without their permission.
If this happens I will warn you, if it happens again I will suspend you.[/i]

3. No fantasy, its a high school board not fantasy land. Bad things have to happen to your character once in a while. No one's perfect.

4. Always put in your chartacter's application and dont RP unless a staff member accepts you. Also do not post in the ICC unless your character has been accepted.

5. Always listen to what the staff says...its nice..haha. Not to mention respective. =]
Disrespect to the leaders and I will give you a warning, or suspension, if it's bad enough or if you do it too much.[/i]

6. Celebrities are allowed as well as models, but please do not use non celebs like people from myspace or polyvore...

7. Please only have one character on each account. If you want more than one character make a different account for each one.

8. Please be sure to post when you want to play a cannon. Make sure it's okay. This goes for staff as well. We know you just love the cannons. ;]

9. Please post 150 or more words in every RP you do. That way it's kept nice and not a sentance long. 150 is pretty easy to ask of you all...I've thought about doing a lot more than just that, but decided not to.

10. Be active! We would prefer that you try to get on at least every other day, but if you have something that would interfere with your online time, let us know.
If you have a cannon character and are inactive, we have the ability to make them open again.
We will e-mail you and remind you before we do this, though. We believe in 2nd chances. =] BUT if you are not active for a week without letting us know why, we will DELETE YOU! So please...be active and stay active.

11. When you're roleplaying, please don't spring some random catastrophe on the other participants. I.e. Sally was chatting with Martha on the beach when OMG a shark jumped out and started eating her arm off!! Pretty self-explanatory.
Now, I know that most of you wouldn't try something as wierd as that, but you get what I mean. Just clue in the other people if you want to do something to spice up the roleplay. And DON'T hurt the other characters without their permission! That counts as godmoding, which we've already covered.
If you make a habit of surprising everyone with random "dangers," we will warn you. Enough warnings, and we may suspend you. This stuff can be okay if you have plotted with that person about it and they are okay with it....

12. When a roleplay thread is done, put [done] or [dead] or whatever in the title so that the staff can easily see it and put it in the graveyard. We do go through every now and then and see which threads are dead, but it would be a whole lot easier for you to tell us when they're done.
